Email contact@youtranscripts.com with the subject “Security report for YouTranscripts.” This is an intake path, not a promise of a bounty or a guaranteed response time.
Include
- A short description of the suspected issue and its security impact.
- The affected page, feature, or request ID, without private user data.
- Reproduction steps that use only accounts and data you control.
- A safe way to contact you for clarification.
Do not
- Access, download, modify, or disclose another user’s data.
- Test destructive actions, denial-of-service behavior, spam, or provider abuse.
- Include passwords, session cookies, API keys, service-role keys, or private transcripts.
- Publish the issue or notify other parties before we have had a reasonable chance to review it.
What happens next
We triage reports for validity, user impact, scope, and urgency. If a report indicates an active risk, the owner may pause the affected feature, preserve relevant evidence, rotate secrets, or contact affected users as appropriate. We will not disclose internal abuse thresholds, provider credentials, or other sensitive operations.
